Croakies Display PDQ
2023
Created for Hilco Vision in 2023, Croakies Display was designed with the purpose of maximizing product capacity with minimal PDQ cost and a small countertop footprint. This display is cost effective, maximizes use of countertop space and can hold up to 30 Croakies holders. The customer had also requested the display include images of people engaging in all-season sports to increase year round sales potential.
Finding the Right Visuals
These were some of the initial ideas for this project. The two images with people are from past Croakies photoshoots and the waves are stock imagery. When presented with this idea, the sales team mentioned that the customer wanted to have a range of images to portray diverse groups of people. They also said they would like to go with the 5 hook option to maximize the product on the display.
The next round of concept renders were made with these requests in mind:
The feedback we received from these versions was very positive- the customer seemed to favor the graphics of the second version. However, they wanted to switch some of the images to feature winter sports, such as skiing and winter hiking. Therefore some images were changed to have a winter focus, so the display could be used in all seasons and in different regions. This feature also makes this display easily usable upon the request of another customer.
Final Dieline and Print File
After showing the customer 2 options on images and layout, they have decided to go with images that feature sports from various different seasons such as skiing, hiking, biking and surfing.
